First Run with Chennai Runners

Happy New Year Friend!!!

Had a nice first-start with Chennai Runners. Said Hello to Ram, guess the Gentleman is Do More Ram.

Flashback to the morning:

I enter Anna Univ and the watchman is like, you cannot park bikes today as a bike caught fire yesterday. I wanted to scream, 'buddy this is a Bullet and Bullets don't catch fire; they are FIRE!' I had to park and an argument would have been a bad way to start the new year, i talked sweet and he was like 'handle, police, if they ask. Sure!

Met the Chennai Runners and they were stretching and contemplating a full / half run and i was clueless. My mind was like hey..psst.. ask for a quarter run! Started good with them from Anna Univ and slowly, yet definitely lost sight of the runners at the start of Kotturpuram bridge.

I scanned the front path, panned left, right was like, huh! Wanted to ask passersby, if they had seen a group of runners, should have asked the route, now shall i turn back or run?

Crossed the Kotturpuram bridge, took Saidapet - Court and reached Anna Univ.

If a child had seen me run, wld have been like 'Look Ma, he is running on the spot; i ran, walked, ran, hobbled and also walked a granny, who was stranded, as she took a wrong bus and was dropped near Raj Bhavan, walked with her till Anna Univ bus stop and she blessed me lots! Hmmmm!

Am definitely here to run and will try to keep pace with Chennai Runners.

    nice way to ring in the year.. i had a good run today too.. except i was looking in the mirror all through the little over 4km i ran.. hope we both keep it up..
