Am I Better than You?
Pha! No Chance! WTF!!!!! Might be your reactions!
Note: Do not send Hit-men behind me, this is not an overstatement, nor an understatement; this is a statement.
Read On.
“Better” as you all know, means better! More useful, suitable, or desirable!
I dream a lot! Think a lot and spend considerable time pondering my existence, its significance and deem upon “How do I, make this life meaningful?”
I want to be a Pilot, Police, Writer, Astronaut, Sailor, Star, Arm Candy, Businessman, Politician and a Martyr….
How does thinking = being and doing = contributing? When, all we do is sitting = criticizing!
We crib, cry foul of how politicians, swindle our hard-earned money. Have you thought of being the ‘Merry Politician’?
Just talking about martyrs alone, will not make us a better person, Martyrs gave-up their lives for a cause.
Would we die for a cause? I doubt it. (Do I sense an ‘I am practical’ reply?) Hah!
Bull Shit!
Here, I am blogging about my dreams to a passive audience, when in reality, am doing what I do best. Playing Safe!
How many of us take risks in life, you might ask ‘Calculated Risks’?
Don’t kid me with a reply, ‘I do’. ROTFL!
If am the same, then how can I better you?
Well, for a change ‘I Love India’, not blame India for ‘what I am’.
Two years back, I was at an India-Australia Trade Convention and on-stage were NRIs, I asked my friend to question them (Am sometimes shy when it comes to seeking attention) “Why do they wish to return to India, only when at 60?, the whole bunch was tongue-tied. They stammered a reply, which was not acknowledge-able. I was instantly reminded of the idiom “To have one's cake and eat it too”. I was never gladder to have caused the embarrassment.
In the end, we got to ask ourselves, what we have done for our Society, our Country, than only for our self-development.
Not at 60yrs, but now! Or at least from now!
Back to the title- Am I better than you? Let’s discuss when we are 60yrs and answer the above question.
Long Live India!
Ur sole intention in that Indo-Australia confreence was to eat Hari..I know it...u just wanted to put kadala with the veilakkaramma...;)
ReplyDeleteJokes apart..good read dude...We all most of the time think of big things..but the bottomline is how much is practically possible...
But I TELL YOU CHANGE FIRST COMES FROM WITHIN..
As the great MJ himself sang 'I am talking about the man in the mirror, I am asking him to change his ways...' :P)
