Money = Honey?
Om! Money Ayah Namah!
We Pray, We Cry, We Laugh, we Dream in thoughts of dear money.
Thoughts of money which were once trivial have now infiltrated our minds and are a pressing issue.
This Money – That Money – Money! Money! Honey!
Nowadays, I hear a lot of “Marital Info”. Who? When? Which? What? Why? Heck?
I presume Money is on everyone’s mind while Marital hunting- “American Mapillai”, “IT Mapillai”, “Large Sum Earning Mapillai” and most important “Panakaara Mapillai”.
What about “Santhoshamaana Mapillai” and “Thagudiyaana Mapillai”?
Does Money = Honey?
Will a “Rich” or “Large Sum Earning” Mapillai become an “Apple of the Bride’s eyes and paramount for her parents’ approval?
I visited my school friend’s house the weekend before last to wish her on her “Soon to be Engaged” status. Her mother was gusto! And I often heard the “My daughter is going to be well-settled.” The IT-Groom had just bought a three bedroom house, has a car, earns well; Then according to transitive relation the following equates to Bride + Groom = Happiness
Ever wondered why, in most marriages the Groom is 3-5years older than the Bride?
Ever wondered why, in most marriages the Bride’s age is below/= 25?
Will a Bride be termed “Old” when above 25; for what?
Don’t we slip up an Oh! When we hear a girl is unmarried at age 25? I, dedicate the “Oh!” to the Dear Social and Media Influence.
Male Life Pov:
Age 17 = Plus Two
Age 18 = Kaloori Vaazlkai
Age 23 = Job
Age 26-29 = Marriage
Age 30 = One Kid + House + Small Car
Age 34 = Second Kid + Medium Car
Age 45 = Mid-Life Crisis + Luxury Car
Age 51 = First Child in College
Age 54 = Get Child Married
Age 58 = Get Second Child Married
Age 59 = Retirement
Age 60+ = Await Death (Roughly)
Our thinking is per se from the Social/Media Influence.
A lot of questions and one simple answer- “Get a Life people”.
For a Holistic-Happy Life don’t just look at the booty (This word has 4+ meanings; Suit yourself).
Don’t be different for the heck of it. Be different for the Life of it.
Every Moment is Another Shot!

My Friend Being Different is one thing but after a lot of trial and error experiment i finally figured it out Money = Honey :P

As I read this, I was reminded of a Verse from the Bible, "for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal"
ReplyDeleteI definitely would want to perceive the "unseen thing" in my man which is gonna be eternal!
