Life is Beautiful!

Yesterday, during a dinner table conversation at my friend’s birthday party, a girl of about 13years, fiercely acknowledged ‘My father does not even know me’; ‘He still would think am 9yrs old’, ‘He does not care for me’. This was seconded by her sister! The thought has been lingering onto my thoughts from then! The questions am asking myself is ‘How Good a father, will I be?’ ‘What are the 'essentials' to be a Good Father?’ If the father, mentioned by the girls, is not ‘good’, then why is he doing, what he is doing? Does Job take precedence over Family? That, he spends negligible time with his family!!! The final question being ‘Are Globe-Trotting businessmen bad fathers?’ and termed ‘Good’ sized by their business empires later on!

Chennai – Yercaud – 390Kms; 11hrs (7hrs riding time) Route: Chennai – Vellore – Vaniyambadi – Tirupattur – Harur – Kuppanoor – Yercaud Silence, more silence!
